LIFE OPTIONS
During our sessions, I’ll help you to tackle daunting issues with the overall goal of teaching you to think critically and logically just like the philosopher’s did so that you’ll be able learn to how to defend yourself against emotional assault and psychological manipulation. I don’t utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because I won’t be focusing on a therapeutic approach to help you change your moods, negative emotions, or address psychological disorders and I don’t focus on behavioral methods such as ‘exposure’. My efforts are focused on how to help you think about your life situations based on philosophical principles.
Critical thinking and logic can be applied to issues and situations such as relationship difficulties, setting boundaries with friends and family, confronting and disarming co-workers and strangers, making informed decisions in your interpersonal relationships, working with, and through, uncertainty and ambiguity, increasing your decision-making ability, creating and establishing emotional intelligence, understanding what makes parenting successful, reaching your life goals, increasing self-confidence, accepting your identity, staying in recovery, exploring reasons for your substance abuse and in helping you to rewire your mindset.
As we work together, you’ll begin to see the value and practicality of thinking critically and logically, as these become your life tools; the “arsenals of intellectual life” as I like to call them. Once I teach you how to shift from emotional thinking to critical thinking, you’ll be able to reframe your challenges and determine the best approach to each situation that you encounter. Learn how to take charge of your life, one session at a time, through logic and critical thinking.
TESTIMONIALS
“I was avoiding facing the issues that were preventing me from moving ahead in my career and my personal life. Everything was just becoming increasingly difficult. Things that never bothered me before just seemed to be a dificult task. I decided that I needed someone to talk to and I wanted someone that had a very strong psychology background, but I didn’t want to do therapy sessions. I looked and looked at so many people that I was beginning to feel super overwhelmed. In one of my last searches, I saw Conceptual Coaching. What I read struck me and so I contacted Dr. Frank. We immediately connected. Dr. Frank has this deep knowledge. It’s as if she just knew what I needed and how to get there. She taught me the changes that I needed to make, and I followed her advice to the letter. Yes, it was dificult at first, but I can’t believe the changes in myself and how other people now react to me. Dr. Frank is incredibly professional and caring. I shudder to think that I almost shut down my computer. I give Dr. Frank the highest recommendation because working with her was life changing.”

I went to Dr. Frank on the recommendation of a close friend because of the stress that I was experiencing. My job had me overwhelmed, my family had me angry, my friends became demanding of my time, and I felt like I was losing it. All this coming at me created conflicts and I was miserable. Dr. Frank listened and listened and listened. She just knew what questions to ask and as a result I came to my own discovery about my role in all of this. Through it all, I learned things about myself that shocked me but no one ever lead me in that direction. I was amazed at how I’d been handling my life and if it weren’t for Dr. Frank I’d still be miserable. I’m more confident all around, I’m able to say “no” and stick to it. Through working with Dr. Frank, I’ve been able to improve the quality of my life and now I have time for me. I can’t begin to thank Dr. Frank for her wisdom, guidance, experience and kindness.”

“A few years ago I decided to seek the help of a psychologist for the first time in my life. I never wanted to avoid anything more...until Dr. Frank, I didn't think it would be possible to not think of therapy as a tumultuous chore. Dr. Frank gives you the freedom and the autonomy to lead the conversation, where there are no pressures or hidden agendas. Dr. Frank is so easy to connect with and talk to you don't notice the hour go by. She is incredibly compassionate, patient, honest, inquisitive, and most importantly consistent in how she shows up for you week after week. She is that constant you need in life, to help you through your trauma or just a bad day.”
